IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON RE-OPENING

Update on Reopening
Hello Previous and Prospective Club Members,
The province has recently announced the great news that tennis might open as early as May 19th. East York Tennis Club has not been authorized by the city to open on May 19th and is under the jurisdiction of the City of Toronto’s Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department. The City has locked the main gate to the Club restricting all access to the property. We anticipate hearing from the City soon (providing further guidelines and instructions).
In the meantime, our executive committee is making plans for a responsible reopening based on guidelines from the City of Toronto and Tennis Canada. We want to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Here are Tennis Canada’s tips for playing after reopening: http://www.tenniscanada.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Post-covid-Recommandations-Joueurs-ENG_compressed.pdf
Finally, we ask for your patience and understanding when it comes to emailing us about the Club’s reopening. We kindly and respectfully ask that you do not email us seeking a date. We desperately want to re-open and will immediately provide you with communication on this site, our social networks accounts, and via email.
If you’re not a previous member, please complete the form below and we’ll send you an email once we have more information with an opening date.
Stay safe and rest assured – tennis is in our future!
