Welcome to the return of the EYTC After School Tennis program. As a community club we know that most of our kids are relatively new to Tennis and so there will be a strong focus on fundamentals and growing a love for the sport. An important part of this teaching approach is to limit the number of students for each instructor. This year there will be a maximum of 6 students per instructor. The program will be available to junior members who are aged 6 years or older by September 1st, 2021. There will be several age groups and within each age grouping there will be two skill levels. You can read more about the age and skill level groupings below and from there you will be able to see the availability and sign up for the program.
The programs at East York Tennis Club are for members only. The first step for registration will be to buy a junior membership. You will immediately receive a credit in your account which can be used against the cost of any of our programs. Check the membership section on the website for more information about what is included with a junior membersip. Our new system is set up using a family structure, when you select a program to join, you will be asked to log into your account. If you do not have a membership then the system will allow you to create a non member PARENT account. If you already have junior members in your account, you will be able to purchase the program directly. If your child is not yet registered as a junior member, then you will be asked to first buy a junior membership for them before they can be added to the program. The junior membership rate is $50 for the 2021 season and will be deducted from the cost of the program (Afterschool or Summer Camp)
The Fall program will start on Tuesday September 7th and will run for 6 weeks. There are no make up classes in case of inclement weather. Each program is made up of 2 one hour sessions per week for a total of 12 hours over the 6 weeks. Students with a Monday class will have a total of 10 hours and the fee is lower. As the groups are fixed each week with a specific instructor, we are not able to allow drop in make up sessions. Please see the notes below for more details.
