EYTC Junior Programming offers a clear and comprehensive pathway for all players aged 4–18.

Our programs are designed to introduce basic skills, foster a love for the game, and promote tennis as a lifelong sport. With a focus on enjoyment and learning, these recreational programs help children develop the fundamental skills needed to play.

Participants can choose from two options:

• Try Tennis Program: Once a week for one hour.
• Play Tennis Program: Twice a week for one hour per session or a single 2 hours session.

Classes are organized by age and ball type, following Tennis Canada’s Progressive Tennis Model:

• Tiny-Tots: 4–5 years old
• Red Ball: 6–8 years old
• Orange Ball: 9–10 years old
• Green Ball: 11–12 years old
• Yellow Ball: 13+ years old

The registration system limits registration by the age of the participant on the start day of the program. Please contact us if you'd like to place your child in a category outside of the age limitations. Our coaching team will review all requests and if approved they can manually register a student in any of the age groups.

Cancellation and Change Policies:

• No drop-in make-up sessions are available for missed classes.
• Injury or illness cases will be handled individually.
• A $25 administration fee applies to all credit card refunds.
• Full club credit or refund is available up to 4 weeks before the program’s start date.
• Within 4 weeks of the start date and during the program: If the spot is filled, a prorated club credit will be provided (if applicable).

RAIN POLICY

• All programs are scheduled to allow some time at the end of the session where makeup classes can be held. Our team will make their best effort to schedule make ups at the same day/time as the original classes, but there may be occasions where the makeupclass might be offer on a differnt day/time.
• Rain Policy Details:
  • If 30 minutes or more of a class is completed before rain interrupts the session, it will be considered a completed session, and no makeup will be provided.
  • In the event of a cancellation due to rain, an email notification will be sent to all participants scheduled for that day’s classes. Cancellations are sent as soon as possible, but weather can often change quickly. Please make sure that @eastyorktennisclub.com is set up in your emil safe list.
  • No credits will be issued for any other missed classes due to rain.
