We are excited to be to continue with our EYTC fall Junior Programming, we will have a clear pathway for all players from aged 4-18.
We will be offering recreation programs designed to introduce basic skills, play the game and enjoy tennis as a sport for a lifetime. They are focused on encouraging children to love tennis while learning fundamental skills needed to play. Multiple classes are offered throughout the week for a variety of ages and skill levels. Players can choose to enter our Try Tennis Programs which is once a week for one hour or our Play Tennis Programs which are twice a week for one hour program. Classes have been broken down into ages and ball types and follows Tennis Canada’s Progressive tennis model.
Tiny-Tots 4-5 years old
Red Ball 6-8 years old
Orange Ball 9-10 years old
Green Ball 11-12 years old
Yellow Ball 13 plus.
Please note that all cancellations and changes are subject to the policies below:
RAIN POLICY
Weekday Programs will run from Tuesday September 3rd to Friday October 11th. It is a 5 week program, with an added week for make-up classes. If mother nature is kind to us then the children will have a 6 week program. If players end up missing 4 or more total classes due to RAIN we will offer a club credit on your account.
Weekend programs will run from Saturday September 7th to Sunday October 13th. It is a 5 week program, with an added week for make-up classes. If mother nature is kind to us then the children will have a 6 week program. If players end up missing 3 or more total classes due to RAIN we will offer a club credit on your account.
If 30 minutes or more of the class has been completed prior to any rain it counts as a session and will have no rain make-up.
If classes are cancelled due to rain, we will send out an email to all parties attending classes that day.
Tiny Tots Tennis This 1-hour class is designed for children aged 4-5 old who have never played tennis before. Special balls, court and racquets are used to develop basic tennis and athletic skills. Parent participation is recommended.
